The Materials Physics and Applications (MPA) Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory is currently seeking candidates for the position of Deputy Division Leader (DDL).

The MPA DDL will help lead and manage an organization of ~300 researchers and staff to execute a portfolio of ~$95M per year. MPA Division provides an intellectually stimulating environment for the pursuit of basic and applied materials physics and chemistry, enabling the development of new technologies to solve pressing national energy and security challenges. MPA operates two world-class user facilities, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory-Pulse Field Facility, and the Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies, as well as unique experimental capabilities and infrastructures essential to understanding and controlling functional materials properties. The Division's staff has an excellent publication record in high impact journals and a distinguished record of recognition through numerous major fellowships, awards, and prizes. MPA Division has strong national and international collaborations with academia, industry, and other national laboratories.

The DDL will work closely with the MPA Division Leader (DL) to provide leadership, vision, strategic and tactical planning, and management for high quality research and development across the MPA Division. The Loss Prevention Specialist (LPS) is a key high level hourly associate position in the Amazon Delivery Centers (DCs). The Loss Prevention Specialist leads the effort to efficiently and effectively provide security services and asset (lives, buildings, equipment, inventory, data, & intellectual property) protection in a designated fulfillment center. The LP Specialist reports to the Loss Prevention Manager responsible for their facility, and aids them in supporting the DC Operational team, and the cross functional teams throughout the organization.

Key job responsibilities

• Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner
• Ensure internal controls per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements related to area are fulfilled
• Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriate
• Inspire performance excellence on the part of all security services team members

Buscamos un
pasante con hambre de aprender y ejecutar en automatizaciones
que quiera ir más allá de la teoría y sumarse a proyectos reales usando
N8N, APIs y workflows inteligentes
.

Lo que vas a hacer

• Diseñar, construir y optimizar
  workflows en N8N
  para distintos proyectos.
• Conectar
  APIs, CRMs, ERPs, chatbots y plataformas de terceros
  .
• Apoyar en la implementación de
  automatizaciones internas y externas
  (marketing, ventas, operaciones).
• Usar
  IA e integraciones low-code/no-code
  como parte real de tu trabajo.
• Aprender a
  desplegar y mantener N8N en entornos cloud
  .

Lo que necesitamos de vos

• Conocimientos intermedios en
  N8N, Zapier, Make o plataformas similares
  .
• Alguna experiencia con
  APIs REST, Webhooks y manejo de datos
  (JSON, Postgres, Google Sheets, etc.).
• Bases en
  JavaScript o Python
  para funciones personalizadas.
• Mentalidad proactiva: que no esperes órdenes para cada paso.
• Curiosidad por crear
  automatizaciones que escalen y tengan impacto real
  .
